Here's how it works:
It really is that simple!
Oh! Calcutta is the only place in Pune where you will get Bengali food in a fine dining setting. Head to Oh! Calcutta on a special occasion and I guarantee you that the experience of the food will be be memorable.… read more
I won't go back because of its dodgy entrance, extremely crowded locality and fear that the building may collapse any day! I love my Mutton Thalis and know that there are plenty of alternatives where I can feel safe without worrying about hygiene but if someone can take you there blindfolded then the Mutton Thali is worth trying.… read more
If you are offended by belly rubbing, belching, beer drinking folk, please skip the outlet at Rahul cinema and go to the Aundh one instead. Either way, you'll get good Indian food so put this place on your list.… read more
Cafe Maroo is a cozy Korean restaurant owned and operated by Koreans. It's unpretentious, casual and serves Korean food that has a "home made" touch to it. It seats a maximum of about 12 people and I don't think any one table can accommodate more than 4, but if these constraints don't apply to you give it a try. I like Korean food and I'm grateful to have somewhere to satisfy that.… read more
Terttulia is a European cafe styled place with indoor and outdoor seating and is open from 9 in the morning through to midnight. The menu is fairly wide with a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta and of course, a range of egg dishes for breakfast but they need to bump their portions up a bit.… read more
I think the open air relaxed dining and proximity to office areas in Aundh and Hinjewadi are the attractive factors plus the fact that this side of Pune does not offer too many dining out options. However, I am in no hurry whatsoever to visit again.… read more
Eating 'Misal' at Bedekar Tea Stall is all about nostalgia and memories of growing up. These flood your senses in between sniffles and wiping 'spice' tears out of your eyes as you wolf down the hot delicious 'Misal Pav'.… read more
I have mixed feelings about East Street Cafe. It is a pleasant place to have a drink, especially if you sit upstairs in the evenings and the salad and mousse suggest to me that they can do some dishes well so perhaps it's a matter of finding out which and then sticking to those.… read more
An ordinary looking cake shop in a lane connecting East Street and Main Street will surprise you with its gooey chocolate cakes. What the bakery lacks in ambiance is more than made up by the bakers offerings.… read more
